Brev från England

Rosie Parkin var den som försåg oss med material från brittiska Rädda Barnens kampanj Knit One Save One till Värma en liten. Hon fick, som alla andra medverkande, en bok som tack. Häromveckan kom det här brevet:

”Many, many thanks for sending us a copy of your beautiful book Varma en Liten.

We were so excited to see our pictures published there and it has been proudly waved at everyone who has passed through the campaigns team. I personally have been greatly inspired to learn Swedish so that I can read it!

Years after the Knit One, Save One campaign closed, we still receive post sacks full of hats, jumpers, booties and mittens each month. Knitters as a community have proved themselves time and time again to be some of the most altruistic and compassionate supporters that we have, and it is fantastic that the value of knitting has been recognised.

Very best wishes and tack så mycket!

Rosie”
