Bild: Karin Braw<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ganska tidigt i h\u00f6stas sedan sa jag till min mamma att jag m\u00e5ste f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka ta fram ett nytt recept till ett julnummer av en av tidningarna som jag arbetar med &#8212; jag t\u00e4nkte g\u00f6ra ett saffransrecept eftersom det vore fint att ber\u00e4tta om Fairtrade-certifierad saffran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bara ett par dagar senare fick jag den h\u00e4r bilden fr\u00e5n min mamma. I massor av \u00e5r har hon bakat r\u00e5gsiktskex med sina barn och barnbarn, och n\u00e4r hon bj\u00f6d n\u00e5gra v\u00e4nner p\u00e5 en av sorterna i somras sa en av dem: &#8221;Det h\u00e4r smakar som kringlor!&#8221; S\u00e5 min mamma provade att baka kringlor av n\u00e4sta deg, och det blev f\u00f6rst\u00e5s perfekt. Nu bytte hon till vetemj\u00f6l och la till saffran, och det fungerade alldeles utm\u00e4rkt!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00e4r \u00e4r receptet:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ca 40 kringlor<br>Ugn: 175 grader<br><br>150 g sm\u00f6r <br>4 dl vetemj\u00f6l<br>2 dl potatismj\u00f6l<br>1 tsk hjorthornssalt<br>\u00be dl socker<br>1\u00bd dl mj\u00f6lk<br>\u00bd g saffran (ett kuvert av de flesta m\u00e4rken)<br><br>till utbakningen:<br>eventuellt lite vetemj\u00f6l <br>p\u00e4rlsocker<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sm\u00e4lt sm\u00f6ret i en gryta och l\u00e5t det svalna.<br>Blanda de torra ingredienserna, utom saffran, och r\u00f6r ner dem.<br>M\u00e4t upp mj\u00f6lken och r\u00f6r ner saffran i den. Tills\u00e4tt ocks\u00e5 detta. Arbeta snabbt ihop till en deg.<br>Forma degen till ungef\u00e4r 40 ringar (anv\u00e4nds lite mer vetemj\u00f6l om det beh\u00f6vs), doppa i p\u00e4rlsocker och l\u00e4gg dem p\u00e5 pl\u00e5tar t\u00e4ckta med bakpl\u00e5tspapper.
